This is what salaries and bonuses are like at JPMorgan in Frankfurt

How much will your salary and bonus be at JPMorgan in Frankfurt? The new compensation report for JPMorgan AG in Frankfurt suggests they will both be comparatively modest. On average, each of JPMorgan's 340 German employees earned total compensation of just under €142k last year, of which nearly €110k was salary and around €32k was bonus.  

Some people at JPMorgan's Frankfurt office earn more than others. The bank's 12 senior managers earned an average of €771k each, of which €287k was salary and €484k were bonuses. The 11 risk takers outside the senior management group earned €387k per capita. The people in the corporate control functions were paid the least. 

Pay at JPMorgan seems to lag behind that of Goldman Sachs AG and Morgan Stanley AG in Frankfurt, which reported total compensation of €395k and just under €354k per head for 2017.

In reality, however, pay may not be that comparable. Pay figures for Goldman Sachs AG in 2017 were only for the investment banking division, for example.

However, this is likely to change soon. In the course of Brexit, all U.S. banks are adapting their structures. JPMorgan plans to increase its Frankfurt employees to around 1,000 and increase the number of salespeople and traders in the city, and pay is likely to rise accordingly.
