Sources say that Francesco Forte, JPMorgan's co-head of local markets sales, is joining Morgan Stanley to run fixed income currencies and commodities (FICC) sales for APAC.

JPMorgan confirmed that Forte is leaving but declined to comment further. Morgan Stanley did not comment.

The Hong Kong Monetary Authority register says Forte joined JPMorgan as a managing director in 2014. Morgan Stanley is rumoured to have spent at least $2.5m and possibly a lot more, hiring him.
