‘Glamping’, or glamorous camping, allows you to experience the outdoors without the need for actually pitching a tent. Those from the City of London might remember a yurt permanently situated on Finsbury Square during the Occupy protests last year. However, this camping option is decidedly more luxurious and relatively cheap. Cool Camping says that it is so “rurally perfect it might have leapt from a Thomas Hardy novel”.
