Mantaray hires consultants, focuses on capital markets
Chris Harrison joins from the recruitment firm Harvey Nash to focus on high-yield and leveraged finance roles. Nakul Kapur, a lawyer-turned-headhunter, moves from Linklaters' structured finance team to recruit on the collaterised debt obligation (CDO) and derivatives market.
Mantaray has also made some internal promotions. Lee Thacker, who becomes managing director alongside Deborah Dor, said: "Given the lack of demand in the equity side of the business we have decided to focus on our strengths and the structured capital markets."
Gilly Cheshire, a consultant who focused on equity research and hedge funds, has left the firm.
In another internal move Sally Eichmuller de Souza, a senior consultant, has been promoted to director to focus on asset-backed securitisation.
Mantaray Partners is the product specialist search arm of Devonshire Group plc.
