Up to half of staff are underperforming

Nearly two-thirds of HR professionals in City of London firms believe that between 25% and 50% of their staff are not performing to their full potential, according to a report published last week. The survey, published by Meridian Consulting, also shows that approximately a third of firms do not train their managers in goal-setting. Nor do companies provide help to diagnose and address the reasons why staff are underperforming.
