- Our client is a leading prestige bank committed to fostering a high-performing, ethical, and future-ready workforce. As part of its ongoing investment in talent development and regulatory excellence, the bank is seeking an experienced Learning & Development Lead to join its Human Resources team. This is an individual contributor role responsible for driving learning and development initiatives, ensuring training compliance, maintaining regulatory training records, and delivering impactful learning programmes across the organisation.

Learning Governance & Regulatory Compliance
- Manage and monitor training participation, completion records, and learning hours for employees, including front-line sales and relationship management professionals.
- Ensure accurate tracking, reporting, and maintenance of Continuing Professional Training (CPT) and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) records in accordance with Hong Kong regulatory requirements.
- Serve as the primary liaison with relevant regulators and internal Compliance, Risk, and business stakeholders on training-related matters.
- Prepare training reports, audit materials, regulatory submissions, and management updates as required.
- Maintain training policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure ongoing compliance with industry regulations and internal governance standards.
- Design, develop, and facilitate learning programmes focused on: Professional communication and relationship management, Soft skills and personal effectiveness, Leadership and people development, Ethical behaviours, conduct risk, and corporate values
- Conduct training needs analyses and partner with business leaders to identify capability gaps and development priorities.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend enhancements to ensure business impact and learner engagement.
- Champion the adoption of digital learning solutions, AI-enabled learning tools, and innovative learning methodologies.
- Support the bank's digital transformation agenda by integrating technology into learning and development initiatives.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends in AI, learning technology, and workforce development to continuously enhance the learning experience.
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, Psychology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of Learning & Development experience gained within banking, wealth management, private banking, retail banking, or broader financial services environments.
- Strong understanding of Hong Kong regulatory requirements relating to training, licencing, CPT, CPD, and talent development.
- Proven experience managing regulatory training records, training compliance, and stakeholder engagement with regulatory bodies.
- Hands-on experience designing and delivering instructor-led and virtual learning programmes.
- Strong facilitation and presentation skills, particularly in soft skills, conduct, ethics, and professional development training.
- Good understanding of banking products, sales practices, and the regulatory environment within Hong Kong.
- Digitally savvy mindset with a keen interest in leveraging AI and technology to enhance learning effectiveness and employee engagement.
- Self-driven, highly organised, and able to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both English and Cantonese. Proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage.
