MD at UK bank escapes to Morgan Stanley, possibly tripling bonus
Lloyds Bank is not known for its generosity. Four years ago it cancelled bonuses. Last year, it paid its global material-risk-takers (MRTs) average bonuses of £280k ($375k) each. Morgan Stanley, by comparison, paid its London MRTs £900k bonuses last year.

Going from Lloyds to Morgan Stanley is therefore a good move. James Taylor, Lloyds' head of infrastructure and project finance, has just made it.
Taylor is joining Morgan Stanley in London as a managing director in the securitized product group, with a focus on infrastructure. Morgan Stanley declined to comment. Taylor previously spent his entire 24 year career at Lloyds.
