The bank is dominant globally, topping our Asian rankings as well as demographic breakdowns, such as the female vote. But did it win in its own backyard - or did rivals such as Goldman Sachs and Bank of America pip it to gold?
No, they did not. JPMorgan is also North America's favorite financial services employer, and by quite a large margin.
American voters in our survey feel enthusiastic about JPMorgan for a variety of reasons. The bank scores strongly for qualitative statements related to the quality of its workforce (“this company has exceptional colleagues” and “this company is a place of integrity”) as well as its potentially interesting work on offer.
American employers, being generally popular worldwide, also dominate in their own backyard. The North American ranking is the only one that has every top 10 firm headquartered in the area (and all in the United States, to boot - sorry, Canada).
Jeanine Carlucci, JPMorgan's Global Head of Talent and Employee Experience says that it differentiates in North America by investing “significantly in employee development, offering comprehensive training, leadership programs and enhanced education benefits,” as well as its commitment to “fair compensation.”
The bank adds that it supports “the overall health and well-being of our employees and their families and have enhanced our health and wellness benefits for U.S. employees – investing $170 million over the past two years.”
