Hedge fund Millennium is hiring PMs and quants from Point72
2024 was a decent year for hedge fund Millennium, which posted 15% gains, (almost) level with rival Citadel. In 2025, it's hiring from another rival that performed even better.

In its London office, Millennium has just hired Adam Clevenger, a portfolio manager from Point72, which was up 19% in 2024. He spent two and a half years at the fund after joining from Morgan Stanley, where he spent two years and was EMEA head of FX and options trading.
It's not just Point72's investment staff that Millennium wants. It also hired Roman Royfman, the fund's head of treasury data and analytics, as head of treasury quant research based in New York.
Royfman spent three years at Steve Cohen's fund, and previously worked in Citadel's treasury quant team. Like Clevenger he came from banking; he spent two years as head of prime services quant strats at Barclays.
Millennium has been losing staff too in its London office. Torbjorn Haugen, a PM at the fund for 17 months, left for small, London-based, event-driven hedge fund Mygale. He was previously a quantitative technology director at quant fund Qube Research & Technologies.
