Yesterday, Mark Beningo has joined Citadel Securities as a derivatives trader, joining from the Chicago Trading Company, a high-frequency trading firm, where he was a senior quant trader for three years.

Prior to that, he was a member and head trader at Hong Kong based HFT firm Volant Trading for 13 years, and worked in UBS' equity derivatives electronic market making team.

Citadel Securities also hired Triantafyllos Alexiou, a veteran of hedge fund Millennium, as a software engineer. He spent 11-years as a software engineer at the fund, and previously global order management system lead for Citi's delta one trading team.

Kyuwon Choi, another software engineer, joined Citadel Securities' execution services team yesterday. Choi joined from Two Sigma, where he spent four years. He was also a senior engineer at Bloomberg, but started his career as a quant researcher in the global macro fund of boutique bank Perella Weinberg Partners.
