Some of Citadel's ex-fixed income guys have reconvened at Millennium in London
Citadel, the hedge fund, has been adding to its London fixed income business this month. While it does so, however, some of its former fixed income portfolio managers are reconvening at arch-rival Millennium.

Reuters reported a few weeks ago that Citadel has added three portfolio managers to its London fixed income business, including Bernard Singer and Ravi Vinda from Brevan Howard and Christine Boykiw from Barclays.
At Citadel adds to its London fixed income team, though, it may want to watch for senior defections to Millennium.
Since January, Millennium's global head of fixed income, based out of London, has been Rich Mazzella, a former chief operating officer for global fixed income at Citadel in New York.
Mazzella was at Citadel between 2008 and 2016. He joined Millenniumn in 2018 and spent the period between 2016 and 2018 at Hutchin Hill. Now, one of his former Citadel colleagues has just joined him.
John Naud, whom Business Insider reported was joining Millennium last November, has just arrived in his new role as deputy global head of fixed income, beneath Mazzella. Naud is also based in London. And Naud was also at Citadel between 2008 and 2016. While at Citadel, he was chief operating for global fixed income, with Mazzella.
Naud left Citadel with Mazzella in 2018. He's since been working for Capula and Rokos.
The Naud-Mazzella Millennium reunion may be immaterial given that it's six years since either worked for Citadel. However, it could also the case that Citadel's fixed income portfolio managers of a certain vintage may be inclined to relive the old days.
Both Millennium and Citadel declined to comment for this article. Millennium recently hired Namann Jain, a former London Citadel portfolio manager focused on central bank policy. Jain's move is unlikely to be related to the Naud-Mazzella phenomenon though, as he only joined Citadel as a junior trader in New York in 2017.
