You could always go back to banking. Or you could go into baking instead.
Igor Ninkovic, a former macro PM at Schonfeld in Dubai has gone the cake route. Ninkovic founded a raw cake making company with his wife last year. As of last week, it is now in operation.
You can see Ninkovic's cakes here. Flavours include chocolate, coconut and lemon spirulina. The company, KaLu Raw Baker, is about cakes that are raw, vegan, gluten free and without refined sugar. You will have to be in Dubai to buy them.
Ninkovic didn't respond to a query about his long term baking intentions. He left Schonfeld last September and previous spent five years working for Citadel in London. It's conceivable that he may be on a non-compete and that the cakes are an interlude.
