It's not just Goldman Sachs MDs who are promoting their lifestyles on Instagram.

JPMorgan employs a bigger Instagram influencer than Goldman Sachs does

It's not just Goldman Sachs managing directors who can be found displaying their highly-toned abdomens in exotic locations on Instagram. A senior JPMorgan sales trader is a star on the social media channel too.

Dilan Abeya has 53,000 followers on Instagram (vs. the less than 4,000 followers of Wael Younan at Goldman Sachs) and uses his platform for everything from advocating tumeric shots for increased energy to advertising Bali as a chill place, representing clothing brands, and modelling the sorts of bracelets that have become common on trading floors.

Abeya declined to comment for this article but his channel communicates the notion that exercising hard, sweating, and releasing endorphins helps stave off stress. There's a lot of torso, but nature shots are displayed too.

Abeya has spent the past 10 years working for JPMorgan in equity sales trading in London and is an executive director at the bank. Before that, he spent three years at UBS and over eight years at Merrill Lynch.

According to his LinkedIn profile, Abeya's role at JPMorgan includes graduate recruitment. If he's interviewing you this year, you might want to reference his channel as an ice-breaker, although you might not recognize him from the photos below if he's wearing a suit.

Sarah when will you wrote something meaningful instead of of just preying on people. Your bosses need to consider replacing you as the street is tired of these ridiculous articles that do nothing but belittle our industry.
