1. It involved a lunch box and a Boris bike
Someone reportedly left their lunchbox on a Boris bike outside Barclays' Canary Wharf office today. This was spotted around 9am.
2. A bomb disposal robot approached the lunchbox and performed a controlled explosion
Police arrived and deployed a bomb disposal robot to disarm the lunchbox by blowing it up. People in the vicinity have been tweeting photographs.
3. Evacuated Barclays' staff were compelled to congregate nearby
It wasn't ideal evacuation weather. It's been raining in London today. Barclays staff were reportedly evacuated to the nearby shopping mall.
4. Other offices were placed on lock-down too
