Why is Deutsche Bank's Anshu Jain pulling this strange face?
We have come across a curious picture of Anshu Jain. It is published in Deutsche Bank's annual report, which is out today. The picture, of Jain standing next to co-CEO Juergen Fitschen, is replicated below. As you will observe, Jain has an unusual expression. He also has something going on with his hands.
What has Jain seen? Or what is he thinking? And what do his hands mean?
We would appreciate your suggestions below.
In the meantime, we suggest that Jain may be thinking wistfully of his compensation package, which is quite a lot higher than Fitschen's according to the table below from today's remuneration report (click to enlarge). And according to body language forums those hands mean empathy and listening with quiet confidence.
