Question:

Why a clearing house and not a bank?

Student’s answer:

Banks are facing big difficulties and they are going through restructuring. Clearing houses are expanding.

Question:

What do you see yourself doing in 5 years’ time?

Student’s answer:

In the short term, I intend to work on my financial and managerial skills through further experience in a client facing corporate finance department of an international services firm. Five years from graduation, I envisage working in a consumer services industry. Since my Bachelor’s degree I was interested in how you can run a multinational conglomerate more effectively. I would be keen to work in various areas ranging from Operations, to Marketing and from Finance to the Corporate Strategy department.
