Big Russian banks continue to make senior hires
Russia’s large banks have continued their recruitment activity with some senior hires.
Otkritie Financial Corporation revealed that it has hired Ruben Agenbegyan as its new CEO and chairman of the board. He joins from Moscow Stock Exchange. This is the latest in a number of key hires at the firm including Mikhail Sukhobok as head of electronic trading.
Separately, VTB Capital has named Raza Agha as chief economist for the Middle East and Africa. He joins from RBS and will be based in London.
