These three banks were quietly hiring people in London in August and early September. This is who they hired

As part of our ongoing effort to shine light into the dark corners where hiring is still taking place in the London market, we'd like to highlight the hiring that has been quietly going on at Unicredit, Abbey National Treasury Services (Santander) and Standard Chartered.

Despite the lateness of the hiring season, each of these banks has been recruiting in London - and taking on people emerging from rivals. Unicredit hired at least 7 people across rates and equity derivatives, Abbey National Treasury Services has been taking on FX people from RBS and Standard Chartered has been strengthening senior staff and hiring in commodities and FX. There is still hiring happening, under the radar.

Here's who Unicredit hired:

1. Mrs Rose Shoshana Kutner

Previously at JPMorgan.

2. Mr Guillaume Battista

Rate salesman. Previously at RBS.

3. Mr Stephane Alexandre Manchet

Previously head of strategic equity solutions at Barclays.

4. Mr Emil Hasanov

CIS derivatives salesman. Previously at Macquarie.

5. Mr Nuzhet Cem Orekli

Formerly a natural resources project advisor at ING

6. Mr Leon Marc Armstrong

Previously in emerging markets investor sales at Citi

7.  Mr Simen Edin Ruge

Previously at State Street.

Here's who Abbey National Treasury Services hired:

1. Mr Lee Bulman

Corporate FX – formerly at RBS

2. Mr David James Popplewell

Head of UK FX structuring, formerly at RBS.

3. Mr Thomas Guy Stokely

Formerly at RBS and Evolution – last registered with the FSA at Evolution in July 2010.

4. Miss Camilla Alexandra Pratt

Formerly at Bank of America. FX spot trader.

5. Mr Neil Tandy

Previously in FX sales at RBS

Here's who Standard Chartered hired:

1. Mr John David Dennis

Director of metals sales, previously at Credit Agricole

2. Mr Alexandre Manson

Former Deutsche Bank AG head of global corporate banking coverage, now Standard Chartered's group head of wholesale banking geographies, based in London.

3. Mr Declan Patrick Mcevoy

Previously an executive director at UBS. FX salesman.

4.  Mrs Sophia Chirag Solanki

Came from Pioneer - unclear what her role is.

5. Miss Yang Liu

Came from Natixis commodity markets
