Hot Job of the Day: Head of Development for Electronic Trading for a Leading Global Investment Bank

When we say hot, they don't get much hotter than this one. It's a Managing Director position and the role is head of IT development for a leading European investment bank's electronic trading. Although the bank is headquartered across the pond, this position is in Manhattan.
You'll be working in the Electronic Trading Development group, which delivers state of the art trading systems for all of the bank's global high-frequency trading business units. These systems include all the components of the trading system stack, from the electronic trading engines to customer order processing systems to inbound and outbound market data systems.
As a leader in electronic trading, this group also delivers scalable, high throughput, low latency systems and they're looking to implement the most sophisticated trading system environments while retaining the speed and performance required by modern trading systems.
As this is an MD level position, you'll be responsible for managing a global trading system development team of more than 200 people tasked to deliver the products and solutions against agreed-to specifications, on time, on budget, with world class quality in accordance with the agreed specifications, times and budgets.
Just to be considered seriously, you will have either a BS or Master in information systems, software engineering or computer science, expertise in different programming languages and be an expert in high performance platforms, low latency systems and software design processes. You should also have a track record of delivering large, complex software systems on time and on budget.
