45 new financial services jobs for Ireland! However, they're all in debt collection and workout

Not that kind of workout (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

Gone are the days when corporate banking, real estate banking, or sales and trading were where all the jobs were being created in Irish banks. These days, it is - unfortunately, all about debt recovery and debt workout (the process by which unpaid debts are recovered).

True to this trend, 45 new jobs are being created at Certus, an expert in 'arrears management' and 'debt recovery solutions.'

Certus says it's in search of: 30 experienced candidates who know about collections, arrears management and credit assessment. It would also like them to have, "strong knowledge" of mortgage products and to be qualified with the, 'Accredited Product Advisor, Qualified Financial Advisor or Certificate in Mortgage Practice.'

It's also looking for 15 graduate hires. Graduate recruits must have graduated after 2010 and will be hired on 18 month contracts initially. The deadline for graduate applications is Friday September 7th.

All the new jobs will be based in Dublin.
