CV First Aid

Are you in the middle of a summer internship in an investment bank?

Are you struggling with your enormous workload? Or with the fact that you have nothing to do? Are you wondering what your project means? Are you wondering why your colleagues won’t talk to you?

Are you wondering how to convert your internship into a full time offer?

Alternatively, do you have no internship and are you wondering what on earth to do next if you want to go into banking when you graduate.

DO NOT FEAR.

We have two front office bankers -  an M&A banker and a trader – waiting to help.

Both have done internships. Both have succeeded. Both are waiting to answer your questions and help you succeed.

Either email your internship related questions to us at Editor@eFinancialCareers.com, or simply post them at the bottom of this article. Please clarify whether your question is for the M&A banker or the trader.

We look forward to hearing from you!

Darlings, did you miss me? No, of course not. Bald truth is not a commodity. p.s. I am not bald.

..so that they can suck you in to the glorious world of banking: where you make shedloads for your boss, carry the can when it goes T*ts Up, earn a pitiful bonus (for which you are supposed to be properly grateful). After all, you could have a job which inspires you, makes things, and with a decent pension. You could work with people with a real goal and passion, producing something other than toxic debt which you have to offload on poor, sappy gits who don't understand about bundling it up and then splitting it so they carry the sh*t when things go pear shaped. What's not to like?
