A detailed breakdown of the salaries being paid to investment banking technologists right now

If you’re a technologist working in an investment bank currently, you’re in the relatively privileged position of being in demand (to an extent). After a where hiring freezes were predominant earlier this year, investment banks are finally biting the bullet and making new hires.

Research by financial technology recruiters the JM Group suggests that vacancies were 17% percentage in the second quarter compared to the same period last year. There’s a particular focus on FX, equity finance, risk IT, commodities expertise and technical, solutions and enterprise architects.
