Otrkitie rebuilds in London. Troika hires in Moscow
Russian banks have been hiring. Financial News points out that Otkritie has hired a new head of international direct market access (DMA) in London. Ben Wood is joining from Flextrade.
Otkritie has also hired a head of DMA sales (Irina Glazkova) and a head of DMA business development ( Alexander Ospischec), both based in Moscow.
Separately, Bloomberg reports that Troika has hired a head of fixed income sales from VTB.
Evgeny Ageshin will run Troika's fixed-income, currency and commodity sales team. The move is a promotion for him: at VTB he was co-head of FX and derivative sales.
Troika is seeing to become Russia's biggest investment bank, Bloomberg points out.
