Belfast is the UK's least expensive City, says Mercer. It ranks 165th, below Birmingham, Aberdeen and Glasgow.
This helps explain why pay in Belfast is comparatively diminutive: project managers based there can expect to earn around £55k. In London they can earn £90k (but will pay for it in extortionate rents).
