HSBC has hired 23 retail bankers in Aberdeen and now wants 3 commercial bankers there
If you want to work for HSBC in Scotland, now's the time. The bank has just opened a £2.8m, five floor branch in the centre of Aberdeen.
It's already hired 23 people to work in the new branch. Later in the summer, it plans a £700k refurbishment of its Queen's Road commercial, corporate and structured banking division and the creation of three new commercial banking jobs.
HSBC is expanding in Scotland. The lending balances of its small business customers are up 38% year on year.
