And the best places to work in M&A in Ireland are….

Mergermarket has released its league tables for M&A in Ireland during the first quarter. They show Irish companies dominating the market by deal volume, but international firms trouncing the locals on big value deals.

Ireland’s home grown M&A leaders include: Davy Corporate Finance, Athlelera, Key Capital, B Riley and NCB. However, BarCap Goldman and RBS top the league table by value after working on one large deal worth $7.3bn.  This would appear to be related to the sale of RBS’s Dublin-based aircraft leasing business to Sumitomo.
