Troika wants to hire around 10 more fixed income salespeople and will not be making redundancies
If you're looking for a new role in fixed income sales in Moscow, a potential employer has let itself be known: Troika Dialog.
Troika has just hired Andrey Chuprin from Credit Suisse to lead fixed income sales. Maxim Safonov, head of fixed income, currencies and commodities at Troika in Moscow told Bloomberg Chuprin is the first of around 11 hires.
Troika wants to increase its headcount by 40% this year as it attempts to compete with VTB. “Thanks to the merger we are experiencing an increase in new business and in order to take full advantage of this we are looking to add people,” Safonov also said. “There will be no redundancies.”
As we noted earlier this week, Troika has appointed several Westerners to senior positions recently. Chuprin was educated in the UK and has worked at Merrill Lynch, HSBC and Citigroup as well as Credit Suisse. This will be his first stint for a Russian bank.
