If you work in banking, investment banking, or financial services in Scotland and are wondering how to earn good money in a middle office role, Scottish recruitment firm Core-Asset Consulting, has some answers.

Its latest salary survey shows Glasgow or Edinburgh-based derivatives middle office professionals, client relationship managers, regulatory compliance, regulatory risk and operational risk professionals all earning salaries of more than £50k with less than five years' experience.

The highest paid people in Scottish financial services are, predictably, heads of operations, on salaries of £125k.
