Otkritie has let it be known that it would like to hire fixed income professionals in Russia

Earlier this week, the Russian brokerage house hired Michael Workman, a credit trader and former executive director in fixed income currencies and commodities (FICC) at Goldman Sachs, to head its fixed income business.
Workman seems likely to build the business. Igor Vayn, CEO of Otkritie Capital, said: “We see increasing investor demand for fixed income products and as such, we are looking to expand our team of highly-skilled professionals with extensive knowledge across this asset class and emerging markets, especially Russia.”
An American, Workman was educated at the University of Notre Dame in the US, where he studied economics and Russian before joining UBS and then moving to Renaissance Capital in Moscow. He told Bloomberg he was attracted to Otkritie by the, "Opportunity to build a new business line," indicating that he'll be doing a lot of hiring. “There’s great potential to develop structured products, Russian Eurobonds and locally traded OFZ Euroclearable bonds,” he added - suggesting hiring will be focused on these areas.
