Behold: the last remaining graduate and student opportunities in finance this year
By now, most financial services organisations are closed to applications for both their summer internships and graduate programmes. However, some opportunities remain. Here's where:
Bank of America Merrill Lynch:
BAML still has long-term internship vacancies in London for sales roles within its global markets division.
Citigroup:
Citi is still advertising for summer internships within its London-based corporate banking division, as well as for technology and global transaction services roles in Dublin.
Deloitte:
Deloitte is still accepting applications for its 'vacation' summer work experience both in London and the regions.
Deutsche Bank:
Deutsche has no vacancies for its traditional internship or graduate programmes, but is still accepting applications for more indirect routes to employment. Firstly, there's its GROW programme, aimed at encouraging more women into investment banking, then there's the chance to be an on campus ambassador for the bank, which could secure you some brownie points as well as a steady income.
Ernst & Young:
Ernst & Young is open to applications for its advisory and corporate finance divisions in London, but also has various vacancies across the regions within its assurance and tax arms.
European Investment Bank:
If you're prepared to work in Luxembourg, the European Investment Bank still has vacancies across various divisions for graduate trainees.
Fidelity Investments:
Fund manager Fidelity still has openings for its European internship programme, where you can sign up for either a summer or up to six months.
KPMG:
KPMG still has openings within its 'vacation' programme, but applications are closing today.
Morgan Stanley:
This is more of an early bird situation than a last minute application opportunity. Morgan Stanley is already accepting applications for its 2013 summer internship programme for its operations functions in Glasgow.
PwC:
PwC has numerous summer internship vacancies across assurance, tax, financial advisory and technology.
Scottish Widows Investment Partnership
SWIP is still advertising roles for its trainee investment manager graduate programme to start in September.
