Blog for eFinancialCareers: Tell us what it's really like working in the Middle East financial sector

eFinancialCareers is on the hunt for some financial services professionals in the Middle East to blog (anonymously) for us on a regular basis, giving us the real inside track on working life in the region.

The choice of topic has to be related to the financial sector, but from then on it's up to you. Tell us about your frustrations and achievements, your job-hunt or how you cope with the challenges of your current position, or (as seems more likely these days) how you're dealing with redundancy.

We feature these candidate blogs regularly on our Asia sites, and want to extend this out to the Middle East. The only proviso is that you must be based in the GCC and work in financial services.

Here are some examples:

The Runaway MBA: How to stay a winner, not a whiner, when you’re looking for work (and how Michael Phelps can help)

Looking back, would I choose to take the CFA again? Probably not. It simply doesn’t justify the effort

Hey boss: Your Gen Y staff probably hate you – here are five things you should do now to stop them quitting

If this sounds of interest, please e-mail a 100-word summary of your blog topic to editor_gulf@efinancialcareers.com. If we like what you write, we might even give you a regular slot on the site, and there's even potential for a small fee for your efforts.
