Chase Holding Veterans Day Job Fair in Phoenix

As part of its 100,000 Jobs Mission, Chase will be holding a Veterans Day Job Fair in downtown Phoenix on Friday, November 11th.

Applicants will have a chance to interview face-to-face with hiring managers at the job fair. Each interview will take as long as is needed to see if there is a good fit between the job applicant and the requirements for the job. There is an online application that applicants can complete before they come or when they arrive.

Chase plans to hire 310 full-time mortgage operations employees through the job fair, and about 250 of these jobs are for the second shift, which starts in the mid-afternoon and ends around midnight. The jobs will be in downtown Tempe.

"We continue to grow in Arizona, where we already employ more than 11,000 employees," said Joe Stewart, Chairman of JPMorgan Chase in Arizona. "As we expand, we are making a special effort to recruit the men and women who have served our country."

Experience requirements differ, depending on the position that the candidate is interested in. For the more senior underwriting positions - there are 70 openings for those - candidates will need at least five years of financial experience, preferably in the mortgage industry.

"In any candidate, we look for a combination of aptitude and attitude - and many of the qualities that people who have served our country embody," a Chase spokesperson told eFinancialCareers.

Chase will make a special effort to hire veterans, but the jobs are open to all applicants. The job fair will be held at Chase Tower, located at 201 North Central Avenue, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Validated parking will be available in the Chase Tower Parking Garage during the job fair.
