Last time Clive Capital hit the news, it was in relation to claims in May that it had lost $400m when the oil price collapsed. This was subsequently denied and followed with some good news: not only is Clive alive and launching a commodities index with Goldman Sachs, it has also paid someone extremely well.
Hence, Financial News says today that an unnamed partner at Clive received 84m this year. As Michael Fowke kindly points out, this amounts to nearly 250k a day - every single day of the year.
