REVIEW MY CV: I've spent two months as a prop trader and two months at a hedge fund and really want a long term job
I am applying for sales trading and broking roles for hedge
funds/stockbrokers and banks. I managed to get my first job in finance this May, and am now looking for something a little more permanent. Any advice you can offer would be greatly appreciated.
Personal Statement
I am a bright, young, eager, quick problem solver and analytical individual
with a lot to offer. Sales and Finance drives the world and the global
economy, which encourages my enthusiasm in Sales and Trading.
I have previous experience in Trading Fixed Income, Interest Rates,
Currencies, Commodities and Equity markets, which allow me risk manage and
maintain company and client accounts. I am currently involved in analysing
private business ventures and liaising with very high net worth clients.
Skills
· Risk management through trading company and client accounts.
· Pricing and market making futures, options and other derivatives through
Black Scholes pricing, calendar, butterfly and box spread hedging techniques
on FICC and Equity markets
· Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and other Microsoft endorsed
products.

· Fluent in Gujarati and Hindi and able to recognise Urdu

2 Aug 2010- Hedge fund, Analyst/Trader
Present
· Intern Analyst/Trader for a Hedge Fund in London City
· Initial training on cold calling high net worth clients, closing deals,
market analysis and real time effects on commodity prices.
· Ensuring morning analysis meetings are quick and efficient through
designated research areas per trader.
· Gained knowledge on how commodity prices relating to precious metals and
other commodities are affected through fundamental analysis.
· Market making for clients and ensuring trades are placed at the correct
prices.
· Placing trades on commodities market for company accounts.
· Meeting private venture clients providing investment/capital-raising ideas

· Initial four week training on Financial markets before proceeding onto the
Live Trading floor. Trading with company funds in the fourth week.
· Achieved a 500 profit Trading on European Government Bond Markets in the
last week of training/first week of Trading live funds.
· Studying outright, spread, butterfly and box trading methods with daily
progression examinations.
· Currently trading on European Debt Market, STIR futures and Forex, hedging
trades through calendar, butterfly and box spread techniques.
· Profitable within the first week of Live Trading, which resulted in my
Trading account being upgraded.
· Multitasking on various projects at a time. Concentrating on five computer
screens, listening to Bloomberg, CNBC, Squawk and communicating with other
Traders and clients while Trading.

· Arranging meetings with clients around Britain in order to maintain sales
