Assuming that you are trying to extract 6 balls from a basket of 15, how many combinations and permutations are there?

A 5,005 and 3,603,600 respectively

B 5,005 and 1,816,214 respectively

C 3,603,600 and 5,005 respectively

    A - Order matters with permutations and hence you should have more perms than combs.

    Killer? Is this the standard 7City is at? No wonder we blew the whole system up!

    This latest "killer questions" is a test of who remembers which buttons to punch in the calculator, or who can google the answer faster. Right, back to my desk to create the next sbubble then - myabe I will sign up for something at 7City first

    I used to be able to answer stuff like that off the bat too...having worked for 8 years I realise how useless some skills are and how useless my skills have become. Maths/CFA/PHD etc are all included....the city is still all about who/what you know

    I am Dead with this Killer Question...The answer is A..I guess i have better question...geeks try it out.

    Mr. X lives in a colony in which houses are numbered 1 to N in a straightline. The house of Mr. X is such that sum of house numbers on his left is equal to sum of house number on his right. If 100<N<300, then how many houses are there in the colony and what is the house number of Mr. X.
