Student's Answer

Control and oversight are very important in financial services. I'm very interested in the operations business having had some exposure already the previous summer. It's very important to control processes at the early stages and the function of ops has important implications for front office performance. My interest grew from an ops management module at university.

Question

If you had to reform the education system of the UK how would you go about it?

Student's Answer

I would consult with all major stakeholders from bottom up, so students, teachers, unions, education ministers etc to find out their opinions, perhaps hold workshops with key representatives to encourage diversity of thought etc and then implement a product based plan, managing key deliverables of the reform in stages for minimal disruption.
