I told how I develop a personal feeling towards Credit Suisse. I told them I heard something good about Credit Suisse through their interns. Then I researched on the company culture and I found more good comment about the company. I verified with their interns and how those positive elements to their reputation reinforced my interest to work for Credit Suisse.

Can you describe a time where you have to communicate a complicated problem to someone?

Student's Answer

I used an example of when I was doing a group project and one of my team meambers had difficulties understanding the technical part of the question. I helped him by first asking checking questions to check his understanding, then explained the concept to him by using graph and flowchart. Lastly, when we divided the workload, I double checked with him whether he fully understand with what he need to do. I think the interviewer is looking for the answer like how you could help someone to progress.

Can you give an example of a situation in which you proposed a change?

Student's Answer

I used an example during my internship where I was assigned to investigate an operational problem. During the investigation, I identifed a loophole in the operation and suggested a new policy to my superior. The suggestion was taken after I presented the idea to the top management in a meeting

Why you think we need to hire you?

Student's Answer

I study in finance so I have the knowledge that required to excel in the industry. I believe Credit Suisse would provide neccessary training for me to fit in my job. I am also a quick learner and I think I could master the skills required very fast. Lastly, as I have already heard so many positive comment about Credit Suisse, you have to give me a chance for me, to be one of those who make good comments. (I think the interviewer is looking for the positive attitude that a candidate should have)
