Question
How is your education and working experience to date relevant to the role?
Student's Answer
I studied business and finance (up to Master in Finance) and did an internship in asset management firm and 1 year graduate program in investment banking.
Question:
Tell us about a difficult situation with a client and how you handled it.
Student's Answer
I once had to attend to a client of my absent colleague. The client didn't receive his proceeds from sale of shares on time. I talked to him and promised to have the transfer completed within minutes. As soon as the Accounting department confirmed the transaction I called the client back and told him his money is in his account. He happily confirmed.
Question:
What achievement are you most proud of?
Student's Answer
Winning national level competition in volleyball. It has taught me a lot about team spirit, motivation and effective group work.
Question:
Tell me about encountering a problem and solving it in a group.
Student's Answer
When working in investment banking we had a client back out from a transaction in last minute. We had arranged for a financing body to enter an agreement with the client and didn't want to disappoint them and lose face. So we worked on the best alternative investment for the financing entity and found a similar project for them.

These questions were provided to us by a candidate claiming to have interviewed at the bank named above. We cannot guarantee that these were the actual questions asked.
