Europe's top student traders: The Autumn edition
So, the winners of the second iteration this year of eFinancialCareers' Investment Challenge, sponsored by Credit Suisse, have been confirmed, and this time it was even tougher.
Over 2,500 students from 34 countries in Europe took part. Unfortunately, only the top five from each of the competition categories - students graduating in 2012 and those completing studies in 2013 - can bask in the glory of their achievements.
To refresh your memory, entrants to the challenge were given a 10m fantasy fund to invest in European and North American equities over the course of two months.
As the rankings below show, despite the plethora of countries involved, those based in the UK came out on top:
Students graduating in 2012:

As well as the kudos, the top five in each category also win the following prizes: 1st place: iPad, 2nd place: iPhone4 3rd place: iPhone 3GS, 4th place: 4. Samsung Netbook and 5th place: 150 worth of Amazon vouchers.
The top 3 in the 2012 group will also be given the opportunity to interview for Credit Suisse's summer internship. Those graduating in 2013 are offered the chance to secure a place on the bank's Spring internship programme.
