Very Late Lunchtime Links: The worst payer in the City last year was...Morgan Stanley International

Financial News has got some interesting figures on how much banks in London paid per head in compensation this year.

Interestingly, they reveal that Citigroup actually paid quite well. Morgan Stanley paid very badly.

Here's the league table (compensation per head, 2009):

1) Goldman Sachs International: $665k

2) Citigroup Global Markets: $458k

3) Merrill Lynch International: $399k

4) Morgan Stanley International: $303k

Needless to say, Morgan Stanley paid less than half the amount Goldman Sachs did.
