Dispatches: Job advertising growth slowed in September, says ANZ survey
A key reading of future jobs demand slowed in September, even as it marked the fifth consecutive month of increases. The ANZ job advertisements gauge rose by 0.7 per cent to an average of 177,380 positions advertised per week in September, seasonally adjusted, after a revised 2.4 per cent increase in August. September's rise puts the gauge 32.9 per cent higher than a year ago. (Sydney Morning Herald)
