Another opportunity to pit your trading skills against your peers
If you missed out on the last eFinancialCareers Investment Challenge, or felt a month wasn't long enough for your trading prowess to come into fruition, we have some good news - it's back on for autumn and this time around it runs for two months.
The Challenge, sponsored by Credit Suisse, is open for registration now (running from 1 October-30 November) to students within universities across Europe. There are two competition categories - students graduating in 2012, and those completing studies in 2013.
Students are given a fantasy fund worth 10m and, over the course of two months, compete against one another by trading European and North American equities.
Expect competition to be tough - the summer instalment of the Challenge attracted 1,700 entries.
But, of course, there are some tasty incentives to motivate you to beat your peers. For a start, there's the opportunity for the winners to interview for an internship at Credit Suisse. For those graduating in 2013, this will be for the Spring programme, while 2012 graduates could secure a place on the Summer scheme.
Not only is this a chance to boost your career prospects, but those topping the rankings in both categories also win an iPad. Runner-up prizes include an iPhone 4, an iPhone 3GS, a Samsung Netbook and an Amazon voucher worth 150.
