REVIEW MY CV: I work in carbon and want to branch out

I'd like stay in the carbon space ( most of my experience has been in origination and structuring- little bit in brokerage and trading)- either in a bank/utility/ trading house/fund. However, I'd also consider something a bit broader in the energy sector, with carbon being just a subset. What are my chances of branching out?

I cant see why you cant branch out. Obviously a complete change may be an issue. But within the same arena you can take on another role. Touch base with any contacts you have in what you want to move into and take it from there.

Guarantee the above people have about 2 years of experience and don't know a damn thing in comparison to the author of the CV.

Efinancialcareers are full of complete idiots - my guess is disgruntled IB dropouts and students who didn't make the cut.

You can do anything you try hard enough for and it's not as if you're looking to make a complete change - you've specified carbon/energy, but ageism is widespread in this industry, so could be difficult. You probably have a better idea than I do.
