A comprehensive list of some of London's newest financial services employers (mark two)
With many of the bigger investment banks cooling on hiring plans currently, it's easy to forget that a number of smaller firms - including corporate finance, hedge funds, fund managers, wealth managers and private equity firms - have (comparatively) recently kick-started their London operations.
IMAS, a corporate finance advisory firm, previously provided us with a list of firms to receive FSA authorisation in the first quarter, and has now done the same for Q2.
Obviously, there's no guarantee that recruitment opportunities exist at all of these firms, but their relative newness suggests some may have scope to expand. If you're looking to move away from a larger firm, it's also an opportunity to explore some more recent smaller offerings.
We're showing selected firms on the list below. Some have been filtered out on the grounds that they have no website.
