Prove your trading prowess and win an internship

If you believe you have trading prowess to match the City's best, eFinancialCareers is giving you the opportunity to prove it, and potentially secure an internship at Credit Suisse in the process.

Registration for the eFinancialCareers.com Investment Challenge, sponsored by Credit Suisse, is now open and will accepting entrants until 16 July.

The challenge is an online trading game, where participants will be given a 10m fantasy fund to invest in European and North American equities over the course of a month, running from 12 July-12 August 2010.

You'll have the opportunity to pit your skills against your peers. The competition is open to current university students in the UK and continental Europe, and we'll announce the top three students in two separate categories - those graduating in 2012 and those completing studies in 2013.

At this point, you're probably wondering what's in it for you. Well, for start you can hone your trading skills and if they are indeed up to scratch then the leading students will be invited to interview at Credit Suisse. If successful, you could intern in the bank's Spring Programme.

If that wasn't enough, we're also offering the choice of three splendid electronic gadgets to the best placed students - a Samsung N220 Netbook, an iPod Touch (32GB) or a Sony digital camera.

To register, simply click here here and fill in the online application form.

Just to clarify why these restrictions exist - Credit Suisse is interested in finding talent to recruit for specific internships and graduate programmes, and therefore restricts the eligibility criteria to those graduating in 2012 or 2013. If you are not eligible to enter this challenge, please look out for future challenges and opportunities that may have different eligibility requirements.
