Here's where you can still get a financial services summer internship for 2010
If you haven't got a summer internship already and you don't intend to commit your entire summer to lying on a beach or packing shelves, you may feel slightly anxious.
Fortunately, all is not lost. At this stage, you will find it very difficult to get a summer internship in an investment bank, but there are still summer internships out there. Here's a selection of those still on offer.
1) Ernst & Young - tax
Ernst and Young is still looking for summer interns for its various tax businesses. You can be in any year of university, but will need to be on track for a 2.1 and to have 300 UCAS points. Click here or here for information. It's not clear when the deadline is.
2) Barclays - retail bank
Ok, it's not investment banking, but Barclays still appears to have vacancies for summer interns in its retail bank. Click here for more information. Applications will close as places are filled.
3) PricewaterhouseCoopers - assurance in Cambridge and Glasgow
PWC still has summer intern vacancies for 2010 in its assurance businesses in Cambridge and Glasgow. The deadline for applications is the 2nd of July. Click here for more information.
4) PricewaterhouseCoopers - tax in Abderdeen, Glasgow, London and Reading
PWC is also still looking for summer interns for its tax business. The deadline for applications is 2nd-9th July. Click here for more information.
5) Credit Suisse, relationship management, Zurich
Credit Suisse still has vacancies for relationship managers in Zurich, starting on July 1st for 10 weeks. Candidates will need to be native German speakers with a good standard of English.

6) Credit Suisse, project management IT, Zurich
Credit Suisse also still has vacancies for IT project managers to spend 10 weeks in Zurich over the summer.
