Results of the eFinancialCareers Investment Challenge
We ran an Investment Challenge between January 11th and February the 11th, and some of the participants did surprisingly well.
The challenge was sponsored by Bank of America Merrill Lynch. 211 teams from universities across Europe took part and each team was given a fantasy fund of 10m. The finishing positions of the top 104 teams are displayed below. Although only 9% of participants finished in positive territory, the top performers achieved returns in excess of 14% - which wasn't bad for a single month!
BofA Merrill have invited the leading teams to write a financial report for round two of the challenge. For round three, the top 8 teams will be invited to attend an Insight Week at the bank's London office over the Easter break.
