Yup, but sometimes you have to answer bone questions to get through bone HR parts of interviews..

something like "If I stay at my current location I hope to be in the running for Supervisor, I would hope that this role would deliver the same chance - could it?"

That's if you care about that sort of thing ofcourse.

This is just one of those stupid questions interviewers ask to look intelligent. Guessing he also had no sense of humour whatsoever....so...his loss if his decision not to progress was based on a humourous answer....

but obvious why the guy did not fair well.. m sure he might be now in bangladesh and not bahamas.
