JP Morgan, credit risk (graduate)
Question:
Would you rather be respected or respectful?
Answer:
I would rather be respected-respect is something you earn, but respectful is something you should be at all times.
Question:
Describe a risky situation you've been in
Answer:
I spoke about my coursework -I had a problem with a tutor and asked that I could switch to another one. This could have been taken very badly and resulted in him making it impossible for me to have obtained my degree. I took a huge risk in suggesting this but
thankfully all parties agreed it was the right decision.
Question:
Tell us something you read about recently in the financial press that was of interest to you.
Answer:
I spoke about the EU directive on hedge funds. I was asked if this was of interest because I myself invested in hedge funds to which I answered that it was more of an interest to the economy of the UK, as the majority of hedge funds are based here and it would have a huge
impact on the country if the directive was approved.
