Former head of RBS investment bank is going into headhunting

We're given to understand that Johnny Cameron, the erstwhile head of corporate markets at Royal Bank of Scotland, is making a move into the world of executive search.

Cameron joined RBS in 1998. He left in October last year after the bank's share price plummeted, but before it announced a 24bn loss, due in no small part to the division he managed.

Cameron has a full pension, so isn't going into executive search fulltime. Instead, he's said to be joining the board practice of Odgers Berndtson as an advisor, something unconfirmed by the firm.

According to the The Scotsman, Cameron is akin to Scottish royalty and installed a giant fish tank in his offices,

Coincidentally, Odgers has also been mandated by UKFI to find the new chief executive to run the UK government's investment in RBS.

interesting article sarah. just wondering how someone who is responsible for 24 bl loss making can actually get "employed" again, although just in the role as an adviser.
    thanks for putting this up.
